Welcome / Croeso to These3Streams Festival 2023 - a unique celebration of creativity and community, located at the heart of the beautiful and historic seaside town of Llantwit Major.

It hardly seems possible that a year has gone by since legendary photographer David Hurn took to the stage to share the story of his life behind the camera, documenting the key moments of the twentieth century, from the rise of the Beatles to the devastation of Aberfan.

Our festival continues to grow and in 2023 once again we have a diverse range of music, literature and art events to entertain, enlighten and (we hope) envelop you in a sense of joy and well-being. Looking at the programme, I have to say that you are in for a treat!

Literature highlights include National Poet of Wales, Hanan Issa and writer and broadcaster Horatio Clare. They will be joined throughout the weekend by a host of local and national writers, who will each provide their own unique insight into the power of the pen, in a series of intimate talks and workshops.

Headlining our music stream is renowned folk singer, Martyn Joseph, who joins us on Saturday evening at St Illtud’s Church. We cannot imagine a more apt setting for this Celtic and humanitarian inspired song sheet.

We also have a full range of art workshops and exhibitions, including celebrated artist Peter Cronin RSMA, who will again be offering a live demonstration of his breath taking painting skills.

All main and fringe events take place in and around the medieval town square, the fourteenth century town hall and the historic St Illtud’s Church, held to be the oldest seat of learning in the UK.

*Please note that due to the size and structure of these buildings, tickets are limited for some of our main events, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
